PUTT PUTT FOR A PURPOSE

Thank you to everyone that helped at our signature project Putt Putt for a Purpose! While our golf numbers and hole sponsors were down a bit this year, everyone had a great time and we raised some good funds for our club to use in service! We had 29 hole sponsors and around 50 golfers. Our net revenue for service projects netted around $4,000.

It takes a village to pull off an event like this! Special thanks to Teresa and Ellen for helping attain prizes, Mike for providing all the printing, John Brooks for ensuring our accounting is in order, and to everyone who secured a hole sponsor or golfing team (or both)! We also have to thank Eashaan for his financial support of this event in both the gate sponsor, providing 3 golf teams, and for helping to boost the 50/50 raffle!

Rotarians who helped and/or golfed include: Tom, Wendy, Tracey, Chris, John Brooks, Mike R., Michael W., Eashaan, Bonita, Mike C., Candy, and Mary. Hopefully next year we can encourage all (or at least many more) of our members to get involved and be at this very fun event!

This week, we will hear from Kara Kinder, Senior Volunteer Recruitment Representative of the American Red Cross.

UNO MAS

This week, we will have Uno Mas. Uno Mas is a casual social event that takes place after the Rotary meeting. The location for Uno Mas will be announced at the meeting.
