What you missed last week:
Last week we heard from Billie Bailey from the Grout Museum who joined us to share how they are adapting throughout the pandemic and the ways they are finding to continue to reach out to the community.  They have offered many virtual options including Animal Spotlights, Voices of Iowa, Sci-Friday, and Toddler Time. They also created Tea Party To Go and Discovery Boxes for children and were able to hold their Museum School ,  a program for local third graders, virtually. Currently the Grout Museum and Veterans Museum remain open while the houses and Imaginarium are closed. Billie also shared about current exhibits . We thank her for speaking with us and all she does to bring history and learning to our community!

Rotary Opens Opportunities
Rotary is not just a club you join. It is an invitation to endless opportunities. It opens opportunities to serve in a project as big and historic as End Polio Now and also in a small community project, where you just plant a tree. It opens opportunities for you to live a richer, more meaningful life, with friends around the world, based on our core values. Everything we do opens another opportunity for someone, somewhere.
The 2020-2021 theme is: Rotary Opens Opportunities.
