We heard from Steve Eilers of Iowa State University Extension and Outreach about what their office does and classes they offer.  We also learned about plants, like wild parsnips, to avoid! Very informative session.

GIARUSSO EVENT
JUNE 24th, 2022
Lastly, we have been invited by Rotarians Colonel Rick and Deb Giarusso to a reception to celebrate the marriage of their son, Rotarian Ryan Giarusso, to Christine Chappelle and Colonel Giarusso's retirement from the United States Army.  The reception starts at 7 PM on June 24th at the Bien Venu Event Center in Cedar Falls.

A New Way to Donate
Last year was the FIRST year our club achieved Every Rotarian Every Year (EREY) status and the board would like to see us continue this trend.  Foundation chair, Eashaan Vajpeyi developed a new way to donate to help make this easier for members.  There is now a link on our website and you will receive a text reminder from time to time with the link.  You can also click the link below to donate directly from the newsletter!
